I mentioned that I'd be doing requests starting February 2nd.  And that much was true.  In fact, I'm... still... doing them.  >_>  That last batch of 6 uploads were all user requests on the M3O forums, in this (forum.monstermmorpg.com/Thread…) thread.

Those replies?  ...That's how far from done I am.  ALMOST down to one page.  <3

Anyway, it's a really fun experience overall.  Some of the requests clearly have a lot of love and thought put into them, and that's always fun to draw.  The fact that it's 'not just a new Monster, but a fan made one' makes it 20x more fun.

To all those with no idea WHAT I am talking about, check out the game - Monster MMORPG.  www.monstermmorpg.com  It's been updated to V2 officially, and got a fantastic face-lift in the process.  The mechanics are incredibly similar to Pokemon, so fans of 'gotta catch 'em all' will feel right at home.  (But the nice thing about M3O is that we didn't use any Pokemon, so we won't be suddenly shut down by Nintendo.   )

Excel sheets are a funny thing, they make words bleed together after you've stared at them for some time.  I'm having a hard time reading text on screen after a marathon of yet more Monster MMORPG Move edits.

But the game is totally ready now.  And that's great.  Better yet, I can get back to other things and not have that annoying thought in the back of my head constantly nagging that a project is waiting on me.  Again.  x'D   Is it just me, or is that an artistic trait?


Anyway, in less computery news!  Marking Feb 2nd down as an awesome day!  Four cars.  One hour.  So many oil changes.  Grease everywhere and tire pressures checked.  That was one productive hour.

But better yet, while looking for the cases of oil, I found a box of crafting tools and supplies that I'd misplaced during the move.  It was in the shop the entire time, go figure.  Just in time, considering how the game project is getting to a place where things can calm down for a bit!  Good things all around.  c:  Now, off to craft!

Journal totally snagged from and given a different header and footer to suit the need.  x'D  So, let it be known I've got no coding skill whatsoever.  <3  One of these days I'll get someone to make my journal not suck, in the meantime... you all get cheesy cut-and-paste action.

So, what's going on?  Well...  I joined a Pokemon gijinka group?  Retype-DepthsGates!

So, that's fun.  Some of you prolly noticed my bird-brain Larp character, Tully, running around lately...  So... that's why.

Aside from that, forcing myself through a long list of poorly translated attacks preparing M30 (Monster MMORPG *points to logo above*) for V2.  In it's current state, it translates almost... too readily to Pokemon.  Many of the current attacks have very, very closely matched names and effects, as if you ran a Pokemon game through Google Translate.  But CeFurkan created a list of many, many more attacks and randomized names.

Ahahah... I'm going crazy correcting them.  X'D

On the bright side, these should be the end-all, be-all attacks.  And they're pretty interesting on their own.  Instead of each type having 1-3 attacks that are worth half a damn, each type's got some good diversity.

Which means not every Fire attack can burn, but there are a few that poison and paralyze.  Even a few that act as an "Effect Spore" and make random inflictions.  Those are fun.

So, game's looking more interesting all the time.  Quite a few more artists have contributed, bringing the creature total over 1,000.  Holy smokes, folks!  Glad to see people helping out!  That should be the final large batch of monsters for a good long while, though players can expect a few more to trickle in over time.
